Triumph is back from the dead

decided to dust off the old triumph and work on it tonight. I'm in the final stages of mock up and almost ready to test ride it before i tear it down for paint..... here are some pics of the progress.

So we lost the pulley bolts on the new soft tail today. Luckily boulder city has an auto zone with the hardware we needed..

good thoughts

So there was a couple pretty nasty crashes in the last couple days involving BMX riders TJ Lavin and Ty Pinney.

TJ is under sedation and resting but was able to move his hands earlier.

Ty was also able to move his hands as of last night and is conscious but is resting. Both men are listed in stable condition.

So the spring broke on the ratchet paw which i already knew that. but i was hoping that was the worst. When the spring broke i went through fifth gear chipping the teeth.. so HOPEFULLY i can order just the parts i need and get it back on the road...

gonna be in san diego this weekend for a wedding. most the time i would be stoked on getting out of town for a weekend but with SLAB CITY approaching, and my bike now in a hundred pieces. I'm trying to figure out a way to exit san diego early and lock myself in the shop.
I have lots to do and not a lot of time, the next couple weeks are going to be crazy..

Had this helmet laying around for years. It's an icon airframe minus the visor. Man it's awesome for those road trips..

Just got this in the mail from DB at DB-ORIGINALS. he is a fucking ruler.. man this helmet has surpassed my expectations 100 times over. i never thought it would have turned out so good. thanks man and i will for sure have more work for you in the future...
